Did you push two twins together, pull a king fitted sheet over them, and find it loose at the foot?
Yes. A twin XL is 38 by 80 inches, so two side by side make 76 by 80, exactly the size of a king. A regular twin is 5 inches shorter, so two twins match a king in width but not in length.
So two twin XLs make a true king, and two regular twins make a king that's a little short. Either way, you sleep on two mattresses, and that's what the Bedbinder takes care of.
How to turn two twins into one king-size bed
After these three steps your two twins work as one bed, and they stay that way. You don't need tools, just 60 seconds.
Push them together, lay it across
Push the two twin mattresses as close together as you can. Then lay the Bedbinder across the middle of the bed: straps on one side, buckles on the other.
Pull the straps underneath
Lift the side of one mattress a little and pull the three straps under it. Do the same with the other mattress, and bring the straps over to the buckle side.
Buckle up, just snug
Thread the straps through the buckles and pull them snug, until the mattresses can't move apart. Then tuck the buckles under the mattress, so they sit on the underside.

Does your topper have a good non-slip base? Then buckle the Bedbinder around the two mattresses and lay the topper on top. But if the topper slides too, put it on first and buckle the Bedbinder around mattresses and topper together.
