Bed bridge size: which bed sizes does it fit to make two mattresses one bed?

Which bed sizes does it fit?
Measure from the outside edge of one mattress to the outside edge of the other. If that's 55 to 79 inches (140 to 200 cm) and both are 6 to 14 inches thick, it fits. So these common US setups all do.

From two separate twins to one king-size bed
Picture it: two twins side by side, and in the morning there's still no gap between them. Once the width is within range, the Bedbinder holds both mattresses together, so you can sleep in the middle again.

Have you measured your bed twice and still wondered which size to order?
Because the straps adjust underneath both mattresses. The Bedbinder doesn't fill the gap, it pulls both mattresses together from underneath, so you choose by total width, not by the gap.
So you only measure one thing: the width of both mattresses together.
How the one size adjusts to your bed
You set the size yourself while you put it on. After these three steps your mattresses are tied together, in 60 seconds and without tools.

Push the two mattresses as close together as you can. Then lay the Bedbinder across the middle of the bed: straps on one side, buckles on the other.
Straps underneath
Lift the side of one mattress a little and pull the straps under it. Do the same with the other mattress, and bring the straps over to the buckle side.
Buckle up to your width
Thread the straps through the buckles and pull them snug, not too tight: once the mattresses can no longer move apart, the tension is right. Then grab the Bedbinder with both hands and pull the buckles under the mattress.

Two twin beds pushed together
Two twins are 76 inches wide together, so they fit. They're 75 inches long, 5 inches shorter than a king, but that doesn't matter: the Bedbinder runs across the bed, not along it.

Two twin XLs on a king frame
Two twin XLs make 76 by 80 inches, the same footprint as a king. So the Bedbinder fits, and one standard king fitted sheet covers both mattresses.
A split king on an adjustable base
A split king is two twin XLs, 76 inches together, so the size fits. Lower the bed flat first, then lay the Bedbinder a little below the middle, on the flat part between the hinge points, never over a hinge. That works when only the head section moves.

Two mattresses that don't match
A twin next to a twin XL fits too, because only the width counts. The twin XL sticks out 5 inches at the foot, so one king fitted sheet over both evens out the look. Just make sure both mattresses are 6 to 14 inches thick.

The first prototype wasn't pretty
