Does the Bedbinder work on an adjustable bed?
Yes, if only the head section moves. This 80 cm is for fixed beds and for adjustable beds where only the head section moves. If head and foot both move (zero-gravity), the Bedbinder Deluxe is not suitable; we'd rather say so up front. A foam wedge pops loose on an adjustable bed; the Bedbinder works under the mattresses and stays put.
Don't the buckles break?
The buckles have been redesigned in stronger material. They are rounded nylon, deliberately not metal: sharp metal buckles tear holes in mattress and sheets, nylon does not. Nylon also goes in the washing machine and is industrially strong, up to 550 kg. If one ever breaks anyway, you get a new Bedbinder within 7 years.
Topper or mattress connector: which is better?
Both together. The Bedbinder keeps your mattresses (and your topper) in place, the topper makes the surface completely flat. A topper alone does not stop the sliding and slips into the gap itself. Two ways: the Bedbinder around mattresses and topper together, or around the mattresses only with the topper on top (more comfort, a heavy topper stays put by itself).
