We remove the gap between two mattresses
First for ourselves, then 250,000+ times over. Here is how it started.
Who do we actually do this for?
Not everyone needs us. These three groups do, every single night.
Couples with two mattresses
Every night the mattresses drift apart and you each sleep on your own island.
Families and guest beds
Two single beds that never quite become a proper double for guests or on holiday.
Anyone with two different mattresses
Two firmness levels side by side makes sense, as long as they stay together. That is exactly what the strap handles.
How did the Bedbinder Deluxe come about?
One hotel night, each on our own island
A romantic weekend away. One double bed booked, but under the fitted sheet lay two separate mattresses. And they drifted apart all night.
Nobody got further than a wedge
Back home the search began. Bed shops, department stores, online: nobody got further than "make the bed up more tightly" or a foam wedge. And a wedge only fills the gap. It does not hold your mattresses together, so the sliding starts again the next night.
So we designed it ourselves
That is how the Bedbinder Deluxe was born: a wide strap that pulls both mattresses together at the source. On in 60 seconds, invisible under the fitted sheet. Today more than 250,000 of them are in beds.
Why we do this, and why this way
Because every couple with two mattresses deserves better than a bump or a gap. And because every decision in the product has a reason we can explain.
That is also why we say when the Bedbinder does not fit. On an adjustable bed where both head and foot end move, Bedbinder Deluxe is not recommended. That sits on the product page, not in the small print.
And it is why you get 90 nights to try it on bedbinderdeluxe.com (30 days on Amazon) and a 7 year guarantee on the buckles. You can offer that when you know your product.
What makes the Bedbinder Deluxe different?
A wedge sits in the gap and is held there by the mattresses. When they move, it moves with them. The Bedbinder creates the clamping force itself, which makes it the only solution that works on the cause rather than the symptom.
Then the practical things: washable at 30 degrees, an OEKO-TEX certified strap, a pull strength of 550 kg for the whole Bedbinder, and nothing to undo when you change the bed.
