How do you make two twin beds into a king?
Push the two beds tight together, then hold the two twin mattresses together so they can't drift apart. Lining up the frames isn't enough, because the mattresses still slide on top. How to put two twin beds together, step by step

Push the beds tight together with the heads lined up, and lock any wheels. Push the mattresses as close as you can, then lay the Bedbinder across the middle: straps on one side, buckles on the other.

Lift the side of each mattress a little and pull the straps under it, over to the buckle side.
Buckle up and tuck under
Thread the straps through the buckles and pull them snug. Not too tight: once the mattresses can't move apart, it's right. Then tuck the buckles under the mattress.

And then?
Then make it up as one bed: a mattress pad over both mattresses, then one king fitted sheet. Two separate twin fitted sheets no longer work, because your two twins are now one surface. In the first week the band can settle a little, so check it then and tighten the straps a touch if needed.
Will it fit my beds?
Any twin beds that can be pushed together will do. Only the width and the height matter: 140 to 200 cm (55 to 79 inches) wide in total, with mattresses 15 to 35 cm (6 to 14 inches) thick. Two twins side by side measure 76 inches, so they fit. How long the beds are makes no difference.

Does it work on two adjustable twin beds?
Yes, if only the head section moves. Place the Bedbinder a little lower, on the flat part between the hinge points. If the head and the foot both move, we don't recommend it.
Why do Europeans put two twin beds together?
Because two single mattresses on one frame is a common double bed in Europe. Each sleeper keeps their own mattress and firmness, and each mattress can be replaced on its own.
