A foam wedge sits IN the gap between the mattresses. On a flat bed, it stays in place (for a while). But on an adjustable bed, it fails because:
- Raising the head section pushes the wedge out
- The gap widens when mattresses flex, and the wedge falls in
- You have to reposition it every time you adjust
- It still does not stop the mattresses from sliding
- The foam compresses after a few weeks anyway
A foam wedge is not designed for adjustable beds. It is designed for flat, static beds. Even there, it is only a temporary fix. Read our full Bedbinder vs foam wedge comparison.
